In the latter half of Acts 16 Paul and Silas, during their 2nd missionary journey faces the prospect of a jail cell once again. As they endure their night in jail, they are presented with an opportunity to escape under divine circumstances, yet they chose not to, instead caring for the welfare of the keeper of the jail. Through the narrative, we unpack and ask three sobering questions from a jail cell.

ACTS: What Makes Us Who We Are?

In 2023 we continue our verse-by-verse study through the New Testament Book of Acts. This book records for us the acts of the apostles after the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the formation of the first church. Going through the Book of Acts will help us identify what makes us who we are and helps us chart our course forward.
