Today: “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness…

This year, our church will go verse-by-verse through the Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew chapters 5 through 7. It is the longest recorded sermon from Jesus in the Gospels. Jesus' sermon begins with the nine 'Beatitudes.' The Beatitudes are the descriptions of certain traits or situations that describe those who are following the way of Jesus.
